At Cherry Creek State Park, we removed a hazardous Plains Cottonwood that had extensive internal decay and structural weakness along its main stems. Over time, the tree had become unstable, posing a significant risk to campers and visitors nearby. Due to the high potential for limb failure or collapse, the park manager requested its removal to help mitigate future safety concerns. Our team carefully dismantled the tree to prevent any impact on surrounding areas. While removing mature trees is never taken lightly, safety remains a top priority. With this removal, the park is now safer and ready to welcome visitors through every season.
