At Riverdale Tree Services, caring for the community goes beyond trees and landscapes — it reaches the very smallest and most vulnerable members of the community.
The company is proudly donating 80 muslin baby blankets to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at St. Joseph Hospital. These soft blankets serve a special purpose: they are used as scent cloths for premature infants. Parents sleep with the blankets before placing them inside their baby’s isolette, allowing their child to be comforted by the familiar, reassuring scent of mom or dad during their NICU stay.
For Raymond, the company’s owner and operator, the donation is deeply personal. He was born at St. Joseph Hospital himself, making this act of generosity a heartfelt way to give back to the place where his own life began.
Through this thoughtful contribution, Riverdale Tree Services is helping provide not just comfort, but connection — ensuring that even the tiniest patients feel a little closer to home.
